The Visionary Behind the Brand

Fueled by creativity, empathy, and a passion for connection, Wouter has journeyed through diverse artistic disciplines to master the craft of brand strategy, design, and consultancy. In 2018, Wouter launched a venture into direct marketing and sales, but the allure of design and branding brought him back to his true calling.

By 2019, Wouter began mentoring fellow creatives, sharing expertise through online courses and one-on-one guidance for entrepreneurs eager to make their mark. In the spring of 2020, Wouter founded Pixel Brand, a branding agency dedicated to helping startups and scale-ups define their identity and strategy. This endeavor opened new opportunities, including invitations to industry-leading web conferences and collaborations with top strategists, designers, and entrepreneurs.

In 2022, Wouter’s innovative spirit was recognized when he became a semi-finalist in the Belgian Entrepreneurship World Cup with his project Ace of Space. While the ultimate prize remained just out of reach, the experience laid the groundwork for future success.

As an active member of the Freelancers in Belgium Community, Wouter has become a trusted resource, offering expertise in design, branding, and business strategy. In 2023 he helped as a volunteer in organizing the successful Freelancers in the City event in Antwerp, fostering collaboration among professionals.

With a problem-solving mindset, a straightforward and honest approach, and a passion for empowering others, Wouter is committed to shaping the brands of tomorrow.

The Origin of Brand Technica

Every journey begins with a single step, and mine started in 2018 when I set out as an entrepreneur without a defined name or brand for my work. My passion for creativity and innovation guided me to launch Pixel Brand—a name that encapsulated the heart of my early ventures into brand design and strategy. Over time, as I evolved and explored new horizons, I realized that no single name could capture the breadth of my ambitions.

This insight led to a series of milestones. In 2020, I fully established Pixel Brand as my business identity, helping startups and scale-ups shape their brands. For four years, it became a trusted name for my clients and a creative outlet for my ideas. However, as my vision expanded, I felt the need to wear new hats, leading to the creation of Ace of Space, a bold concept for a co-working hub infused with creativity and innovation.

And then, there was Brand Technica.

Born from my desire to fuse technology with creativity, Brand Technica became a personal endeavor to reflect who I am and what I stand for. It embodies my deep passion for design, strategy, and innovation—a true intersection of creativity and technical expertise. While Pixel Brand represented a chapter focused on collaboration and client partnerships, Brand Technica is a frontier for my personal growth, a portfolio of my work, and a platform to offer freelance services.

At its core, Brand Technica is more than just a name; it’s a testament to my journey—a dynamic fusion of creativity, strategy, and innovation, constantly evolving with every project I take on. It represents my commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities in branding and design.

Every name I've created, from Pixel Brand to Ace of Space and now Brand Technica, is a reflection of the same underlying passion: to build, create, and inspire. Each step has been a meaningful part of the journey, laying the foundation for future ambitions while staying rooted in the values that drive me forward.
